Silver Alert Issued For Cognitively Impaired 90-Year-Old Maryland Man

The Maryland Center for Missing and Unidentified Persons (MCMUP) has activated a Silver Alert for a vulnerable 90-year-man missing from Prince George's County, the organization said on Facebook

Mario Hugo Vilchez-Avila, who suffers from a cognitive impairment, was last seen in Greenbelt at 11 p.m. on Wednesday,, March 23, the MCMUP said. He was believed to have been driving his 2000 White Ford Truck with Maryland plate 906Z92. 

Vilchez-Avila is described as a Hispanic male, standing 5'8," with white hair, blue eyes and weighing 150 pounds, the MCMUP said. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, khaki pants and a black beanie. 

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Prince George's County police at 301-352-1200 or dial 911.
